Looking for some junky wheels....
I'm needing some temporary wheels for rolling the car around in the garage until I get the real ones...

Hey blykins, go to the bone yard and ask for the donut spares. I picked 4 of them up for $5.00 a piece. They are so plentiful so most yards end up having to pay a disposal fee on them to get rid of them. They work great and you do not have to worry about beating them up.

I picked up some good tires and wheels at the local salvage yard for about $10.00 ea. Any early model Ford passenger car tire will do.**) slithering |
I have a set of wheels and tires that will be coming off my Cobra shortly. They have never turned under power and the tires are new (4 years ago). The wheels are BASSET steel racing wheels 15x8 with 4" backspace on 4.5x5 bolt circle. The wheels are silver powercoat overwhich I had the local paint shop apply a clear coat. Wheels & tires are balanced. The tires are BFG TA's (2) 245/60SR15 & (2) 275/60SR15 (I may be off on the aspect ratio)
My car is currently at DV's shop undergoing final assembly and are also waiting my new wheels & tires. I was originally going to use these for the first year of road use. I have about $650 - $700 invested in these wheels & tires. Let me know if interested and what they are worth to you. MH mikehausner@aol.com |
