428 crank

Look on ebay, there is a guy who lists scat cranks fairly frequently. Look under 428 ford. He is A.W. Brown with performance crankshaft out of Michigan. $499 for the crank plus around $20 for shipping. If you don't see one listed, let me know and I will look up his phone number. I have bought stuff from him before without any problems.

Hmmmm,,, interesting, but $20 bucks for shipping won't get it to MY house.

Unless, it is literally on that slow boat to China that passes every once in awhile.

499, nice price!

Lineslinger,

If you haven't already purchased pistons, I may have a set of new custom flat top forged pistons that will work for you. Also,
there's a local (St. Charles, MO) SCAT dealer.

Scat Cranks

Mark the number is 586-776-1162 ask for A.W. Brown, the company is called Performance Crankshaft inc. He stocks all the FE cranks, ie 3.98, 4.125 and 4.25. The first crank has stndard FE sized rods, the last two run BB Ch&*y sized rods. He also stocks the scat rods for all the cranks and bearings. All his pricing has been very reasonable. He can also get pistons, I believe he sources them from Probe. But if you need true customs you could probably get a better deal from Diamond Racing pistons, ask for Eric Simmone.

Thank you for the information fellas, it is truly helpful. Daniel Jones, who and or where is the Scat dealer in St. Charles? Is it the Mustang renovation shop at the corner of 94 and 370? Would like to talk to them. Thanks.
M.
