The only one you can use is the Lakewood bellhousing. Nothing else will fit. Do not go the McLeod route. I did and I am paying for it.

If you don't mind paying a little bit more, give Motorsports International out of El Cajon Ca. a call. They produce/resell a reproduction original style (i.e. authentic look) steel scatershield. The only issue is if you use a centerforce II clutch assembly you will have to grind off a high spot around the opening for the clutch fork.

I have an Ansen cast steel scattershield that was made most likely in the early 70's. It is in great shape and includes the bottom piece that is often missing. It also has the fork and a block plate. It is drilled for the early style narrow pattern, but has the cast in bosses ready to be drilled and tapped for the wide style trans mount. I was going to put it in my Falcon but I am going to stay with a small block. I'd let it go for $350 plus shipping.
