WTB: Jag XKE IRS and more...
Please send me a private message (PM) or e-mail if you have some and before you post elsewhere.
Thanks!! Want a Jag IRS from XKE, limited slip would be great. 3.31 gear ratio. I am looking for the whole rear suspension. I know it is a long shot...but I am looking for some Edelbrock Heads, 428 FE. Jegs stock no. 350-60069. Need MGB front end. Maybe if I click my heels three times... ;) Mike |
Don't have a rear end, but do have a set of sedan hubs with 5x4.75 studs(chevy).

NOt sure what you mean.

XKE's use spine drive hubs for wire wheels. In order to mount Trigo or other bolt on wheels you have to change hubs to a flange arrangment. XK sedans use a flanged hub with a chevy bolt pattern. E-type rears are desirable because they are narrow. Sedan rear ends have to be narrowed for a Cobra application. This narrowing process has proved to be problematic for many owners, resulting in total suspension failure. Not a good thing at speed. Get the E rear, change hubs and your set.
I have the fronts also for Contemporary and others using E type front ends. |
OK, I will keep that in mind...I really do want to find the correct rear end...if you hear of one let me know. Also want something a bit taller than 2.88 gear ratio.
Are you suggesting a jag front end? Unique is the body and frame...will that acccept such? A friend who did his 10 years ago used MGB front end. Mike |
I have a complete XKE front and rear suspension with a BPL 3:54 rear end. May consider selling. Let me know if you are interested.
