The last three of the FFR guys in Jupiter went to Stuart for there bodcy work and paint. I think the price was the same as the second choice who is in Palm Beach Guardens. I-95 and North Lake. Complete job paint and body work $3,500. (body off the frame). If you want the name of he guy in Stuart they used I will ask around. BTW ever go the the Treasure Coast Mall car show every Tuesday night?

I have a Vic Jr. For 351w that I don't need. I'm not sure about the deck height but it came off a 1971 casting that I think was 9.5". I checked the intake and there is no part number on it.

JayBar 08-07-2005 05:05 PM

jhein,
YOu say it off a 1971 Casting. Does that mean a '71 block?

I also have a vic jr. that was removed last week from my 351w "R" block. Iam changing manifolds so no longer need the jr. Will check numbers tomarrow and get back to you. Do you need a full race cam and solid roller lifters????

JayBar 08-07-2005 08:39 PM

Bill,
Don't need the cam just installed a new Tirck Flow phaseIII using hydrolic roller lifters.

But please get back to me on the mainfold. BTW what is an "R" block, and does it have a 9.5 inch deck height.

jhein 08-08-2005 08:48 AM

Jay,

Yes, I believe it was a 1971 block and 9.5 deck height. I replaced the Vic Jr. with a RPM air gap. The Vic Jr. was on the car for about 2 years and is in good condition aside from needing to be cleaned up. I no longer have the car so I don't have much use for the intake.

JayBar, Sorry for hijacking you thread!

Bill and John,
I'm in the build process on my engine and am thinking about using a Victor Jr intake. I'm curious why both of you went to other manifolds. Something wrong with the V-Jr or something you didn't like about it?
Larry

JAY B The victor jr. is for a 351 W with a part # EDL 2981. I removed the manifold and the cam to make the engine a little more street frindly. RPM range for the jr. is 3500 to 8000.
I have a 1" spacer to go with the manifold. I would like to get $150. + shipping. The Ford R block is a 4 bolt main sold as a after market block for racing.
