How much of a car do you need to use in order to claim it as the titled vehicle,(fiero to lambo as an example),if you use part of the chassis, can you claim that vin and title?
|
If you are building a kit it is likely best to get a new VIN and title issued. Not a big deal in Indiana.
More details on what you are planning might help us in making suggestions. John |
What i am saying is,what if you used an early XK chassis as a foundation for a build, would it be proper to use it's paperwork, even if a non-jag body was set on it?
The early kit cars were mostly rebodies, alot still are. What is the defining line for a new VIN? |
