CA owners for guidance

Hi,
I still have to install my coyote engine into my Backdraft, but I'd like to know if I can kick off the registration process already.
Does someone know if this is even possible these days?

Have you read the topics in the registration subforum?

Yes I did. I just wonder how to start it out in these times when the DMV doesn't take appointments.

I was told that the larger Sacramento DMV offices were well versed in handling SB100 so I stopped in to the Broadway office to get started, this was shortly after the shutdown. I spoke with a gal checking people in who told me that they weren't taking appt's but that I could mail it in. She said that I should mail it to the Broadway address as they open their own mail and would then handle it in house.
It worked pretty well, I mailed in a bunch of stuff to get started then a lady called me to go over what I still needed and when to send stuff back. All in all it was probably easier than getting someone different at every visit, plus not having to hang around the DMV.
I live in Davis, only about 20 minutes from the Broadway office
