Wisconsin Registration advice needed!
What fun. First I spent two hours at the local dmv and left without plates. Then I spent most of the day on the phone with various DMV employees trying to figure out which way to title the car with no definite answers yet.
I purchased a used 2002 superformance previously titled in MN with a "2002 reconstructed" title. The car has a '72 engine block. Can't figure out if I should go with standard car plates and HOPE they emmission test based on the '72 engine or go with the hobbyist plate and HOPE they issue a '65 ford replica title. Nobody can answer anything definitively. Need help! |
Update:
Within two weeks I received my Hobbyist Title that reads: 1965 AC COBRA Convertible Other designation : Replica No inspections, no hassles. Done. Plates good as long as I keep the car. |
Rock n Roll ! Glad to hear it went so painlessly.
Now you can bring it out Weds (Aug 2nd) night for the Cobra feature night at Pistol Pete's ! |
Where's Pistol Pete's?
|
I will be there Yetiman!
Life comes down to several moments, and this will be one of them! :D :D :D Do you do video's as well as still shots ? A vid of the "parade" caravan would be awesome. I'm thinking several video cams are needed.... Oct-1881, Pistol Pete's is on Lisbon Rd in Brookfield, WI. The website is www.wednesdaynightclassics.com. Note: We are meeting at 5:45 pm at the intersection of Capitol Dr. (hwy 190) and Pilgrim Rd, and then a mass cobra migration at 6:00pm to Pistol's will follow..... :MECOOL: See you there! |

No, I have never ventured into video. Still cameras are enough of an obsession for now (in addition to all of my other obsessions). |
