A new place to surf and sponsor of Run N Gun

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to mention one of our sponsors of the 2010 Run N Gun, Redline Review. Redline Review is an online magazine that emerged after the collapse of Kit Car Illustrated. Editor Brian Smith and photographer Ben Moment are uniquely talented and offer a new twist of information on the Kit Car and Racing Industry. Brian Smith is starting a new article addressing the build of a Cobra which he addresses many of the issues we all confront in our own builds. Brian will also be introducing new products and where to find them for various projects of interest to Redline Review public. Ben Moment is a crack photographer that can make any of us look like we are driving million dollar cars and steaking to a championship. Check these guys out at:

Now to Run N Gun 2010.

We have our sponsors in place and with their assistance we are going to be able to offer a special item or two in our goodie bags this year that many of you will use everyday. Our sponsors will apear in our ad in the June and August 2010 issues of Kit Car Builder along with our informational flyer. We are going to make this years event The Best Ever with media coverage by Kit Car Builder and Redline Review and maybe some others as well since we are inviting the Pony Cars (Vintage and Late Models). Additionally, if you don't want to participate in the track activities we want to welcome you and your rides for some social time with your peers. Then next year you will register when you see how much fun you are missing. :)

Run N Gun is great fun and a great opportunity to learn more about yourself and your car. We hope to see you all there either as participants or spectators.

Thank you,

Clois Harlan

Fantastic news Clois and sounds like a hell of a lot of fun. I will be there. :3DSMILE:

My two best Buddy's have a automotive repair shop named
"The Shop inc."and they have a "Mustang Chassis Dyno", in Lincoln Nebraska,
about 100 miles east from George's track.

Would there be enough interest for Cobras and other racers to have a "Dyno Day" ?

I can ask them if they would be a sponsor. As you know, a good dyno tune before racing or just street driving, can make a big impact with performance and fuel mileage.

Kevin,

We tried this three years ago and there just wasn't enough interest to make it profitable for the shop. Thanks for your suggestion. We can toss this out on our web site later and see what kind of response we get and decide then.

I was not able to attend last time, so I guess forgot about that Clois. Maybe we'll have better luck this time. Are you going to be close to Lincoln Ne. at anytime ?

It's too bad that Shell Valley closed down, I'm sure we could of had a tour. :(

I have not heard anything about Shell Valley closing down in fact I spoke to Ann Dales just a couple of weeks ago and they are planning to attend and help sponsor RNG. I will have to check back with the management today.
