I really want to make Run n Gun. I don't want to 'Race"my street Cobra. (It's too pretty to take a chance on wrecking it!) So, I am building a street legal but more track orientated version. I have the chassis done. It uses C5 Corvette aluminum double wishbone suspension, the Vette 3:42 diff, Vette brakes, ect. I also have a light weight body. I want to put a punched out aluminum FORD small block in this one. I hope to keep the weight to under 1800lbs. With a Vette engine and 6 speed I am under 1800lbs. I think that it is time for me to put some slicks on and go for top gun! I have always run street tires and street trim in the past. Anyway, I can dream about being on the track.
