Run n Gun October 7-9, 2009
Yep, planning is still happening and our first sign of The 2009 Run N Gun Nationals will be a re-designed web site that should be up in a couple of weeks. New interactive features and a new Home Page that will afford us the ability to be more responsive to your needs and current information. Thanks to Mark Earls staff we should be able to enjoy some pretty neat enhancements that his group are making. More information soon.
The agenda is still being hammered out with the folks at Gateway and we hope to have some very exiciting news on that about the same time our updated web site becomes live. One thing for certain is that 2009 will be another great year at Run n Gun so if you have not enjoyed the fun and excitement then SAVE THE DATES of October 7, 8 and 9, 2009. We have been listening to our participants and hope to have some revisions that you have asked for over the last couple of years. Plan on the 2009 Run n Gun being the biggest bang for your track time buck! Clois Harlan |
Can't wait Clois. Thanks for all of your hard work. Johh

Thanks John. It looks like you are setting a new standard for Cobra's. Good luck on your newest endeavor. If anyone can make lemonaid out of lemons it would be you.
I appreciate your attitude about our economy and your high spirits. I believe we need a few more of you around our country to demonstrate the can do spirit that the majority of Americans have come to be known for. In my opinion no stimulus package will replace good management and accountablilty (whick I believe some of the larger Corportations have lost sight of the rewards for success senario the rest of us live by). Dean and I are working with Gateway and trying to keep everything we want to do within their guidlelines for safety and feasability. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again this year and hopefully a few new faces. Clois Harlan 2009 Run n Gun Nationals |
Great news
Clois Harlan Sign me up, with or without a car. Been going for 16 straight years why stop now. I will need a bigger closet from all the Tee shirts:LOL: Need any help feel free to call. This year we will be more on the ball with tires and checking softness with a tire gauge. We will also tighten tech times for cars. Please guys have your cars checked at home for everything on the sheet before coming to R&G. Lights, gascaps, and helmets seam to be the biggest problems. If you have only one gas cap on a cobra, find a tennis ball to help stop the gas from coming up the tube when racing. Many of the Cobra manufactures now have dual gas caps with the normal gas cap inside the popoff one. The lights are for your safety on the track. The same is for the helmets to be NOMEX. This is all for your safety. I enjoy and want everybody to have a FUN and safe time for this event. This year will be better than last year.:D Rick L.

This event could never come off without the help of everyone involved. It's kind of like raising a child....sometimes it takes a whole village!
