RUN N GUN Update
I guess several of you are wondering why we haven't posted more on Run n Gun yet? Well the answer is that we are still trying to negotiate lower fees for this years event not only with the track but also with the Doubletree Hotel in Collinsville )formerly the Holiday Inn). We are getting close to firming up the details so please bare with us for a while longer.
A lot of things have changed since last year with the track, our manufacturers, the accomodations, environment etc and Dean and I are trying to put together the best bang for your buck. We have even considered a bare bones event to drop costs and increase track time but things invariably seem to always go up regardless of the financial environment. However, we are adament about no increases... we still have over five months before show time! Check out our new web site (build in process) at http://runngun.net
Thank you,
Clois Harlan

I wanted to put in in SB Pro but I think I have already spilled the beans on my engine so I guess I will be in either the BB Prep or BB Pro class if I can find away to afford a new set of 17" slicks by then.
Thanks Bill for the compliment. What will you be driving this year at RNG? Your coupe was pretty darn quick and you had one of the top 5 or 6 times last year. Are you planning a big surprise for us?

Thanks for the kind words Bill. Hope we can do the same this year and have a larger presence. The club is looking forward to it.
Clois, as for ideas to take the place of the drags, I believe someone has already mentioned a 0-60-0 (wondering how to trap the speed though), any way we could get a few Spec Racers here to have a 5 - 10 lap shootout/race? To make it worth the while for the vendors, maybe if they could give a presentation on their products/services. Charity rides? Looking forward to your announcements soon on the event.
