****think run n gun 2009****

Yep, it is time to start registering for this years Run N Gun Nationals in St. Louis, October 7, 8, & 9 2009. We have a brand new web site that was created by Mark Earls Productions. We think we have everything on the new web site with the correct information and links to online registration at not only Gateway Racetrack but also the Doubletree Hotel. The REVISED RUN N GUN rate at the Doubletree is $79.00 per night (Thanks to Dean Lampe for his re-negoiations).

Garage spaces are being assigned and can be rented for $60.00 for the entire event by selecting your desired space from the linked http://www.runngun.net/images/2009%20garagesgateway.pdf and mailing your check with your desired 1st and 2nd spot locations. Make your check payable to:

Run N Gun
Garage Spaces
8160 S. 270th E. Ave
Broken Arrow, OK 74014

If you have any questions please contact either Dean Lampe or myself (Clois Harlan). Our contact information is listed on our web site.

Thank you,

Clois Harlan and Dean Lampe

Clois,
I had to drop the paranthesis at the end of your link to get it to work.
Just so you know. See you in October!

i'm thinking run n gun but the people at doubletree are not. they have nothing for run n gun. do we have a code word?

Clois Harlan 06-17-2009 05:10 AM

Dean spoke with Kara the event manager of the Doubletree in Collinsville and the web site 0are still having problems registering for the RNG Discounted price of $79.

I will make another post after 10:00 am this morning with what ever news I have.

I enjoyed the Casino Queen exept for the loud band that 1 night,it was a good stay overall.

Clois Harlan 06-17-2009 02:35 PM

So did I Bill but Gateway has severed ties with the Casino Queen and they have told us they wouldnt' support our stay there. So, they told us they had an agreement with the Doubletree in Collinsville. Dean was over there this weekend and he tells me it is extremely nice and completely remodeled. You are more than welcome to stay there but Gateway has asked Dean and I not to the Casino Queen with Gateway!

Fricken politics...

The smell of Racing gas Hot engines, and hotter competition+the sounds of High powered cars and renewing old freindships are just 11 a short weeks away are you ready?

Clois Harlan 07-20-2009 06:15 AM

On that subject there are only 16 Garage Spaces left as of this morning July 20, 2008. If you haven't decided on whether to go to Run N Gun this year or not I would encourage you to visit with some of those that have previously attended Run N Gun or give Dean Lampe 618-322-6046 or myself a call.

Well, I have my garage space and now I am OFFICIALLY REGISTERED!!! See everyone in October!

PurpleVenom 08-12-2009 09:31 PM

Clois/Dean - any update on how many registrants? Folks, I know money may be tight, but this is a great time. I may even have some homebrew ready by then for after track enjoyment.

Clois Harlan 08-13-2009 05:06 AM

Without a doubt registration is going a little slower this year than last. We have found that over the years many of our participants register the last week before the event. Garage space is over 2/3 sold and our manufactuers are at 50% sold. However, if we have only 40 or 50 cars we will have a great event and that would just mean a lot more track time for everyone else.

Speaking of registration this is just a reminder that Gateway will close the early registration discount this Saturday. So, if saving a few bucks is important to anyone then your registration must be postmarked by midnight August 15, 2009. This will be another stellar event for the Kitcar market and even though Kit Car Illustrated is no more we will still have coverage by Kit Car Builder Magazine.and possibly a Speed Channels new series.

The early registrations must be post marked today!! If you are coming to St.Louis for Run and Gun this year, today is the last day to save $50 for early registration. Get your checks in the Mail! I think someone said it is only 7 or 8 weeks away!
