engine and headers installed in my SPEEDSTER

I know that this isn't a Cobra. I love Cobra's and have one that I have built from scratch. It's a blast. But I like all kinds of cars. This is one is of my own design.I have been working on it for awhile and had to take some time off to deal with some of lifes challenges. Thankfully I am back working on it. I thought that some of you might like to see it. Happy Trails! John

I like it John!!!.....Curious about your front and rear uprights are the off the shelf or built by you?

I cheated when it comes to the parts!! I built the semi-monoque chassis. I designed it to take the suspension cradles from the C5 Corvette. The cradles are aluminum and have the lower suspension pick up points, sway bar mounts, diff mount and steering mounts built it. I only had to fab the upper aframe mounts. The wheelbase and track are the stock C5 Z06, so the geometry is unchanged from the Vette. The Vette uses a transaxle. My car does too. I shortened the torque tube and moved the engine rearward 22 inches to achieve a 54% rear weight. The engine is an LS6 hooked up to the 6 speed manual transaxle. Total weight is right at 1900lbs. I am having fun!
