Gary all you need now is a nice authentic 427 sc body to drop on that chassis, are going to be using big brakes etc..

an ally body would be nice and keep the weight down ,we have been talking to AP about what brakes we need , as big as we can get between the hub and the wheel

the floor is 1"lower than the bottom edge of the body on the under side of the chassis so good head room and the foot well extends 1.1/2"past the side vent in the engine bay, my partner peter is 6 foot 3 and quiet large and he has design it to fit the larger gentle man

what are the anti-squat characteristics of the CC & AR suspension? Any downsides you have found?

Hi Mark,
The CC&AR system responds to anti-dive and anti-squat strategies in the same way as any other double-wishbone suspension system. By adopting a rising rate approach however, we have found that its inclusion can normally be avoided.
Have you seen the CC&AR Web site ( http://www.walker-partnership.com/)? There's a lot more information about the system there.

Looks like a fun project! If a car needs a Carbon Fiber Body, this is it!

wheels look great, but 235's for the front seem a bit small: any reason for this?

any bigger than this compromises the straight line stability, moor tram lining and heavy steering

Never mind the screaming villagers with the torches and pitchforks - Keep the progress pictures and updates coming. (Just make sure when its done you wrap it all up in a body that does it justice )
