original 427 chassis 3D WIP
G'day
Because of some cyber gremlins i could not reply/post but Brent debug some of them :) I've decided to continue my original 427 chassis 3D work that i've made on year 1999 using autodesk mechanical desktop, after 19 years. This time using Rhinoceros from scratch based on information that i've collected over long years ! https://www.ozgurtan.com/p/3d.html https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9HffmEDI9...B07.37.44w.png |
G'day to all,
Now, I've got better frontend detail, revised my scratch build 3d model based on track width and owners manual drawings. But, i'm open to your share of frontend and rearend (from inside view) reference photos ... Ozgur ozgurtan.com https://i.ibb.co/3fmHpPC/2019-01-03-at-22-11-29.png |
Question:
Hello, Thanks for posting, very nice.
The neon green tubing that is the birdcage. Can this info be transferred to a CNC tubing bender to form all the bends for the birdcage? regards, karl |
yes, it can be done based on math data.
but, most of cnc bender operate more easy if tube has got straight sections between bends instead of back to back radius or splines. checking fixture is also important. Quote:
