Chassis drawings on eBay
For those that might be interested, I found this in my surfing on eBay...
I understand that they are from Cobra Restorers and they do have some short comings and a few of the dimensions don't quite add up. :o There always seems to be someone looking for a set. Just trying to help. Chassis Blueprints -John |
Ac cobra Blueprints f
I am in the category of sourcing AC cobra Chassis blueprints and any assistance would be appreciated besides Cobra Restorers.
On ebay.com a merchant had constructed a Ac cobra Chassis with blueprints in the backgound and these drawings are available for the cobra community if you handy with tools especially if you got panel beating skills like myself. |

Thanks John for the information and they are VERY EXPENSIVE At $600 compared to the Cobra Restorers Plans at $200.
I checked out the index and it seems to be MORE comprehensive than the nine page blueprint and therefore per page it could be better value in the long run. Rx Stanley in Australia. |
You will spend more than that extra $400 in time and re-doing things if the drawings are not correct.
$600 for drawings for a cobra chassis is nothing if you think about how long it took someone to make them. |
I noticed the drawings linked in post #3 are for a 289 and a Coupe that he is offering for sale. The Cobra Restorers drawings are for a 427 Cobra chassis. Big difference.
