Metal working web site!
I don't know how many of you are aware of this web site, so I thought I'd share.
www.metalmeet.com There are a lot of very neat things being built (scratch built!), cars, trucks, boats, telescopes, planes, etc. Almost makes me want to go out and buy an English Wheel!:3DSMILE: "Edited for readability!" |
That's pretty neat. I had 2 body guys working for me in another muffler shop18 years ago. They heated, and shrank metal with cold towels. Filled in body rot on a 67 OldsC/S with new metal. These guys were artist. The body was so straight they wanted me to paint it black. I kept the white, but went with the pure white pigment. I think it was #109 if memory serves me correct?
