cobra in russia

Hi

Is it posible to get cobra registered in Russia? Could you say what kind of rules there is for "home made cars".

I'm in Finland and here it is practically un posible to get any replica to road legal so I plan to build one for track use only.

I rememeber that at least one company in Estonia made replica cobra's and even use lada niva parts for suspension. But what kind of build you plan and what kind of info you need exact?

Spidi 08-15-2008 05:40 AM

Possibility 4 building-up is also engineering, there are for this purpose all conditions, and textretrieval. And 4 filing it is necessary to confirm validity of acquisition of all unit assemblies only.
That that was plotted in Estonia not absolutely approaches. It is supposed to put a motor from the American. And all delineations are necessary probably. Or on at least cradles and appendages, a basket, I think, to a smog itself to make on a photo!

Once again I ask for forgiveness for bad the English finger!

СПИДИ (Spidi),

I listened to that with a Babel fish... it actually made sense. !!:)

Spidi - your english is not that bad. I can understand what you mean. I can not help you, but I can understand you :)

Spidi,

Check in with the Kirkham brothers, they manufacture replica cobras in Poland, in an old MIG factory. You may be able to start there, do the chassis/roller and then get driveline components to complete a Cobra.

Not in Russia but, closer than anywhere here in the US.

BTW your English is a lot better than my Russian !!!!!!!

Are you trying to build an original style car or a modern replica? There are blueprints available from www.cobrarestorers.com they show alot of the chassis and body framework and the dimensions. Do you think you can find anything like a body over there or are you stuck with importing everything?

jberg 08-17-2008 10:35 PM

Estonia cobra maker

Hi

Here is a link to that Estonian supplier for cobra body/parts

http://www.rexer.ee/11/gb.htm

Good luck with your quest Spidi. I hope you manage to get through all the hurdles that our governments ask us to do in order to have a vehicle you desire.
We have a neighbors from the Ukranine and Paval and Svetlana are trying to teach me some Russian but I am a slow learner! :)

Spidi is planning to scratch-build his Cobra. He is looking for any plans, engineering drawings, specs, etc. that would be helpful, and thanks everyone for their assistance.
