T&E Legendary Classics

Does anyone have any experience with T&E Legendary Classics? They're a Shelby dealer in Ross, Ohio. I've found some positive comments on their engine supplier, Performance Engineering, but nothing about the dealer.
Thanks.

If I was going to buy a CSX, I would go to either Stephen Becker at Planet Cobra or George Anderson at Gessford. At least give them a call. I know when I did my research I called and talked to a bunch of the dealers. Here's the list if you don't already have it:

I am not familiar with T&E. However, Eric at Performance Engineering (the engine supplier to which you referred) used to be a Shelby dealer. Perhaps you could talk to him about T&E.

If you are in the market for a new CSX 4000 car you should also consider talking to George Anderson at Gessford (as Doug already mentioned) and Billy Andrews at HRE.

Good luck.

T&E is Tom and Eric. If you want a great build and a great car I would buy from T&E. I do not have any thing to do with them except I buy alot of motors from Eric. I know Tom fairly well and they build top notch cars. If you want the best then buy from Me ( Shameless Plug:D) If you want the best Shelby and 427FE then by from T&E Legendary Classics.

Thanks for the feedback. I have exchanged emails with Tom at T&E and Stephen at Planet Cobra. I have at least looked at the websites of all the Cobra dealers and contacted a few that seemed to look most appealing. I hadn't tried Gesford. Thanks for that sugestion. I'm going to be in Arizona in a couple of weeks and am planning to stop by Arizona Shelby Cobras. I'm still in the early stages of research and if I decide to buy from a dealer I want to be sure it is someone I'm comfortable with.

Al G, Eric has done work for me for years (on my SPF) and I have had nothing but good experiences with Eric. AND I have purchased a car (CSX 6029) from T&E. I recommend them highly; they are professional, very reasonable to work with and their quality of work is unbeatable. However, the best part is, you can trust these guys. I would strongly recommend that you give them a call and talk to them. You can't go wrong with them.

T&E Experience

Eric has built and installed two engines for me on two different Cobras, top notch classy guy.

Very ethical, down to earth, trustworthy. Have known him for over 7 years and has done a tremendous amount of work for me.

You will not go wrong here. Give him a call.

Tom Hoppenjans is the owner of T&E legendary Classics, outstanding "Period Specific Cobras" You just have to see them in person. Give them a visit, you will be hooked. 513-738-5001 or 859-512-3830.

I talked to Tom @ T & E about a new CSX during the last couple of months. He seems like a great guy and I would not hesitate to give him my business.

Are they still in business? Noticed their trailer, truck and four of the cars are at a local dealership for sale. ?

Yes we are still in business. Tom just decided to sell off some of his assets.

I saw the trailer for sale online. I'm not sure my Ford Expedition could handle that beast!

Are they still in business? Their webpage isn't working anymore...

Eric and T&E Legendary Classics is very much still in business. The number there is (513) 738-5001. Give 'em a call.

The Hinderbergers are the BEST - as all the Posts have shared.
They built for us, last year, a wonderful 351 and sorted out all
the drivetrain and chassis before it was shipped.
It drives like a brand-new, totally factory-built vehicle!
You can trust this family, totally.
