The side vents don't look original though. Looks like they were added on later.

Beautiful, but the description says the car was "re-skinned" and pieces of the original body used to repair another car. Sure hope it was re-skinned in aluminum or somebody will be very disappointed!

I believe the brass cylinder is the grease gun that was provided with the original cars, and mounted there........

That was my thought too but I wasn't sure.
Now there is something to replicate!
