Shelby American Collection Fundraiser Raffle - 2014 Shelby GT500

Many of you know about the Shelby American Collection in (near) Boulder, CO. I got an announcement in email today (I knew about it about a month ago) that they are going to raffle a 2014 GT500 as part of the annual fundraiser.

Note: I don't know why they haven't linked this to the main Shelby American Museum web site, but it is real.

The tickets are on sale now, and the drawing will be on 14-Sep-2013 at 6:00 during their annual fundraiser party. This also announces the date of the party, so mark your calendars. It's not posted yet who will be there.

Just a ping for this. This is a fundraiser for the museum. 2500 tickets have to be sold for the car to be auctioned before the party on the 14th. I just got mine last week and got 1600-1609.

This has nothing to do with Carroll or Shelby American (although many of his former colleagues and employees come to the gathering.) It helps preserve a collection (in one place) of a whole bunch of privately owned vehicles. This is the sister site to Larry H. Miller's collection at Miller Motorsports in Salt Lake.

And if you're in the Denver area, or passing through, come to the annual fundraiser party on 14-Sep.

Details on the raffle and party at Shelby American Museum. The list of people who will be there is there. It's a good place to get autographs.

I bought my ticket when I was there last month. I saw the car, it is brand new and BADD ASS. My friend who knows nothing about cars thought it was the nicest car at the museum, what a moron%/:confused::eek:... It is nice, he just didn't realize that he had died and went to SHELBY-FORD racing heaven...
