CSX 7000 Series

After a long hiatus, starting to again look for a 289FIA.

Superformance MkII is nice, as is the CSX 7000 series and of course Kirkham.

From what I am sensing though, not clear to me that Shelby is still producing the CSX 7000 series. Lots of 6000 series around and a few 4000 series, but no dealers have a CSX 7000 which makes me nervous. Last time I seriously started looking for one of these, let's say that dealers/manufacturers were known for telling you anything that they thought would get a deposit. No slam intended, but wondering if this is still a problem as herd seems to have thinned quite a bit.

Availability issues seem to be same for the Superformance MkII it seems.

Is anyone aware of anybody within the last year ordering either of these bodies and actually getting it?

Thanks

Not sure if they are making the CSX7000 anymore, just sold CSX 7012 the other week and it was a great car.

Both the 7000 and mk2 fia are very much available. The 50 anniversary street models took its toll on the FIA but the factory completed all of them and is once again back into production of their full range of cars.
Orders are being taken again.

The Superformance MK II is available. Because it is a lower volume and more specialized car than the big blocks, dealers are reluctant to stock them. No matter what we have on hand it is the wrong color, etc.

The MK II is worth the wait. Let me know if you would like photos of MK IIs here and at the factory, I have many.

We also have a MK II FIA on hand.

Ross and Mr Muck have them. Think they produce for SAI at this point in SA.

Neither of us are involved with production . Rick is a SPF dealer in Buffalo so involved in the sense of selling the SPF MK2 amongst others and I am consulted if necessary.
Jim Price and his team of wizards at Hi Tech are the production side.
Your little baby looking great Jeff, Well done. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh. When is the christening?
Regards

What would be the price of such a CSX7000 roller?

Take a look at this.

Authorized Shelby Dealer -* Gessford Motor Works

That should have the numbers. You could also call George, he has sent a few cars overseas.

Here's a nice one for sale:
Legendary Motorcar Company | | 1965 Shelby Cobra FIA CSX7000 Series

CSX7000 production story (my understanding)

a.) Glass body and chassis are produced in South Africa at Hi Tech.
Superformance | Factory

b.) Aluminum body and chassis are produced at Kirkham in Poland.

And at the end they go to a Shelby dealer and get the documentation from SAI.

But what happens in between? I’ve some steps (many names/companies) based on my understanding, but I would like to get the information by an involved source.
THANKS
