With less than 4 days to go, the bidding has stopped at $65,000. Typically, the selling price on a used Shelby Cobra replica in fiberglass sells for about $115,000-ish.
So what's the final bid here? Tough time of year to be buying a luxury item, but the stock market is at an all-time high.

The truth of the matter is he might just has well auctioned it off on Alpha Centauri. Very much an uninformed seller. Oh well, it'll be a good buy for someone.

There are some negative points in my view. While the fuel cell is new, I'd rather have a Kirkham tank. The Eagle GTII's are bad tires and have to be pretty old. I didn't think Goodyear makes GTII's in Cobra tire sizes any longer. The Toploader and OEM side-oiler are also negatives to me.
Otherwise it looks like a fine Cobra for someone. I'm assuming the seller has a reserve on it, but I'm not familiar enough with BaT. However, I do know other cars that have had success on the site.
A while the Guardsmen Blue and white stripes are far better than BEIGE, the color scheme is bit passe to me.

That's assuming that it sells - BAT doesn't disclose whether an auction is covered by a reserve price, or not...
Sometimes the sellers will let it slip in the comments that they have a reserve price set, but you never know for sure until the auction closes with either a "sold" , or closes with a "highest bid" quote (which means the reserve was not met).

I think it will move at the end but not really sure what the success rate of BaT is... especially on a Cobra.

Depends whether the seller really needs the money or is just testing the market. Certainly selling right before the holidays ain't good for your wallet or pocket book.
BaT has been successful for other cars that I've seen on BaT in 2016, but they also weren't 100,000+ cars either. Also, I've seen a comment or two written that Shelby's and Cobras don't do as well on BaT. I have no idea if that's true or not, but that's what I've read.
OTOH, the unemployment rate is low and the stock market is high, so that should help.
Personally, I think if it does sell, then it's going to between $100,000-$115,000. If it's under a $100,000, then buyer is getting a VERY GOOD deal, if the seller let's it go.

I was insulted at the buffet throwback but then I
(1) considered the source
(2) Remembered that his insults are the same as they were two years ago. Sort of listening to the same Don Rickles album over and over again. Except Don Rickles was funny
(3) doesn't have enough taste to paint an unfinished car.
Evan was smart and knew what he was doing.

You already forgot about the mashed potatoes, chicken wings and cheesy breadsticks. Anyway, I was only reminding you about dinner time and the early bird special.

He'll come back to something more visceral.

Plus the max (5%) buyers fee $5,000. So, the buyer paid $120,000. Above, I gave a range of $100,000-$115,000. Considering the time of year, IMO "well sold."

I wonder if the buyer had an inspection done or if he went out and saw it in person...... may have just rolled the dice based on info and pics.... which is very brave in my opinion.

Why such a stretch? Did you read the entire description? ultra low miles and recent sorting on a factory assembled car with professional finishing.
