I'm guessing 2027 in the title should be 2017. You can fix that
So is this car taking the former spot of CSX2000 at the SAI Vegas headquarters? How about some more info about the car? P.S. I now live about 5 miles from Shelby American. When we were in Colorado we were about 12 miles away from the Shelby American Collection. All things considered, I have to give a more than 2 thumbs up to the Shelby American Collection. Both sites have awesome cars, but the Shelby American Collection has so much more - lots of stuff in the background and files and files of original documents that get brought out on rotation. The combination of the Larry Miller collection and the private Cobra owners make it a so much more diverse site. If you have only one to go to, go to Colorado. By the way, CSX2000 now lives in Boulder at the SAC. If you go there when it's not busy (only open Sat 10-4) and you are real nice, they might let you get up close and personal for some pictures. I seriously doubt they will let you sit in it though. |
It looks like one of the SPF cars recently released.
Yup replaced CSX2000 |
Ross is THE MAN!
Larry |
Yes, Ross is the man! To sit next to him and work and talk things out is amazing. A wealth of knowledge and experience. I feel double blessed to not only have a car designed by him, but to work side-by-side with the creator as we take the car to the next level.

Thank you for posting those Jeff. Another thank you to the other members for their kind remarks...appreciated.
Tony, if you would like to see and know a little more about csx 2714, (the red one in the pic ), and about the other 3 Ltd edition 1963 Sebring cars, and there is enough interest from other CC members, let me know and I`ll make it happen. Or, If you are a paid up member of the 289 Register in the UK ,Phil Riley requested I do a 3 or 4 part story for their Newsletter. This gives a slightly more detailed version of each of the different versions development. Thank you, Ross |
Truly beautiful tribute. Ross has certainly outdone himself with these special edition cars. You could not ask for a better ambassador for the replicar business.
