Hi Wayne,

I'm in Lost Wages on business and stopped by today to see whats up. I love your newly arranged showroom, and the company store is very nice too! (I visited you in February and lots of changes are to be seen).

I bought a poster and almost some more shirts and things... but have got to say that your receptionist is not happy with her job. I was obviously not a priority with her and my questions were a bother. Actually, she was kinda snippy... I think I was quite pleasant. So, I just left with my tail twinxt legs with a $15 poster and no pictures of those fine originals in the showroom (she really slammed me when I asked to take a foto of the "427"s dashboard).

Anyway, hope things are going well for you. I'll stop in again at my next visit in hopes of a better experience.

Regards,
Zderf

I live in Las Vegas and last week I also was at your facility at the speedway. I had a similiar experience with the youg woman, not very good for public relations.

Unfortunately I have heard from several sources that the reception at the Shelby Factory is less than thrilling, but I can assure you if you come to our show room you will get the royal treament. We have several cars on display, demostators, a restoration shop full of Cobras, classic sports cars, vintage racers, and lots of car toys. In fact we are the toy shop for adults.
Anyone in the area please stop by, we are half way between Los Angeles and San Fransico on the California coast. (wine country)

Receptionist change

For those interested, the receptionist was changed in December 2000 following several incidents. Thank you for calling this to our attention.
