Superformance at Shelby Automobiles
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bob Marsh and Gary Patterson for their hospitality on February 6th in Las Vegas at their manufacturing facility.
A couple dozen Superformance owners from around the country were meeting in Las Vegas, and as fellow Cobra enthusiasts we would have been in remiss had we not called ahead to stop in to just say "hi" on Friday. Bob and Gary, ever the true gentlemen, took time out of their day to personally take us on a private tour of their facility and talked with us at length about many things from cars to fishing. While it may have felt a bit awkward in the beginning, the meeting resulted in sincere handshakes as we left. A private tour of the Shelby facility was a highlight of our Las Vegas winter get away. One common thread between all Cobra guys (and gals) is they love to talk about their cars… it was a great time talking about cars at the Las Vegas facility, some interesting historical racing stories Bob reminisced about and yes, as Randy mentioned, Bob loves his fishing too!!
