Purchasing/Waiting list for 07' Shelby 500GT
Hi, Im in Miami Fl, and I recently inquired about buying an 07 Cobra when they come out. However, I had seen that someone had already posted that they were on a list in their area. Im already on a list to be called when they're taking orders, but from what I understand from other people, they're taking orders now! Help anyone?
How, if possible, can I get on one? Is there a set amount of production Cobras being made in 07? Thanks everyone ahead of time for your time in helping out. |

Good question...I called one of the local dealers in town (Vegas), I ask to speak to the sales manager for the company not a sales person on the floor. The Manager told me that they don't sale Shelby's ...not a very informed person. When I ask had she seen the New York Auto show or surfed the Ford.com website she remained clueless about the new Ford Mustang GT 500 that will be available in spring 06. However she wanted to sale me a mustang on the lot...most likely a 6 banger...CLUELESS!!!!:CRY: :mad:

Same here in Houston. Had my fleet manager call the local SVT dealer and they informed him Ford has not released the final price/delivery yet. Basically not taking orders as of yet. You can be sure when they start coming in, the price will go up at the dealer.
(Remember the T-Bird and GT-40 rate increases?) Maybe Eagles is right. Send a email to Ford and get is straight from the horese mouth. Mark |
Eagles, Try Friendly and Team Ford. Both will take your name, and they sell SVT Vehicles. The sales manager told me that they will call us, for either a deposit or to add our names to an official list.
