"Inside Shelby Racing: Wrenching and Racing with Carroll Shelby in the 1960s"

Anyone read it? I thought I would give it a try.

Have not gotten the book, but met John Morton 20 years ago, he was filled with great (and some not so great) stories about his time with CS. I suspect that this will be a great addition to my collection of such publications.

This book is a great read.

John Morton is two years older than I am so I can really relate to the times and stories he tells of his time with Shelby American. He starts out as a want to be racer sweeping the floor in the Shelby shop and ends up...........I'll let you read it....

Great stories about himself and all those who worked under the roof of Shelby American. It seems that John is quite honest about these stories which will surprise you with some of them. A few good laughs too.

I'm not quite finished but thoroughly enjoying it.

It is worth the read. Great book with more stories. I had already added it to my collection.

I started it but could not get very far. Usually I like this type of book, but honestly found this one to be boring.

It's a very good read, it gives the reader a sense of what was going on in a first person point of view of the 1960s racing scene and the SAI shop.

Got it for Christmas and couldn't put it down until finished. It's the life story of a born racer and how he interacted with Shelby from the beginning to much later on. I thought it was terrific.

I purchased it, and thought that it was terrific!

I liked the book. It gets a tad slow in the middle, but it's well worth the time.

Please post your thoughts after reading! I'm trying to find some good introductory materials for myself to get more familiar with what my husband is talking about all the time.

I bought 2 copies. One for me and one for my buddy's late Christmas gift. Looking forward to the reading!
