It is interesting to see the popularity of red interiors. When did red as an interior color stop being popular?

Hmmm,,,not single white leather interior in the bunch. I guess I'm special!

Red is still available in the new Vettes...see a few peppermint cars driving around...white with red interior.

I noticed that they didn't do the red in the 3000's but I can tell you the black with red is a really cool color.

Turk:

For whatever reason, the CSX 3000 cars were devoid of red interiors. In the CSX 2000 cars, they were as popular in the beginning as they were at the end.

That is interesting, too, because 34% of the CSX 2000 cars came with red interior. Given the relatively low volume of the 3000 cars, it was probably an issue of standardizing the interior from four choices to one. Makes for easier inventory management, I guess

Interesting.
My favorite color combo in a Corvette has always been Wiite with red interior. Everytime I order one everyone at the dealership cringes, and it sells right away. Yet the reaction is always negative,

I love red interiors, even in Cobras. Saw a red interior in a ERA Cobra couple of years ago at Carlisle, it was absolutely stunning.
Correct or not. Dark, dark blue outside, brilliant red inside.

Here is the car you saw at Carlisle...

As far as white w/red, remember the British sports cars of the early Sixties (MG Midget, A-H Sprite, Triumph Spitfire)... that color combo was very popular

I have actually considered doing the whole inside red but the seats, doors and brake boot just kind of pop the red with the black car.
