Cobra racing drivers
Hi, looking at the Cobra Books, there are some drivers i don,t know much about, can anybody tell me anything about these drivers.
Rick Muther (Cobra Daytona) Jim Adams (Cobra Daytona) Skip Scott Cobra & Lang Cooper) Charlie Hayes (Cobra & Lang Cooper) What other racing exploits did they get up to? are they still alive? Its all interesting stuff. |
I recall that Rick Muther (pronounced "Mew -thur) ran at Indianapolis a few times in the early 1970's. Don't think he did much there, but could be wrong.

Charlie Hayes drove a varient of a Mustang II in Trans Am racing in the mid - late 70's. There was a picture of him posing with the car on the cover of either Autoweek or Road & Track???
