History question on the Shelby Cobra 427/SC

Can anyone tell me if Hertz or any other rental agency ever rented the Shelby Cobra 427SC. I know they rented the Ford Cobra for a year or so. I thought I saw a TV show where they said at one time Hertz or another car rental company had rented the 427SC.

Would certainly appreciate an answer on this question from any Cobra Historian.

Cool thought...but absolutely not.

In the Shelby days, the only thing Hertz got involved with was the GT-350's, starting in 1966.

Not surprising what you hear on some of these "well-researched" shows.

The mind boggles - just think of the repair bills....!!!

THERE WOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN ONE.......................total loss about $8000.
