OSI Mustang, not a Shelby but ever heard of it?

I saw a picture of it once in one of those Automobile Year type yearbooks
(maybe it was WORLD CARS ) of a car called the OSI Mustang. I have seen an OSI car just recently at an Italian car show, with a V6, maybe built on Capri mechanicals. I guess OSI was in Germany or Italy. The OSI Mustang was white and what made it memorable was that it had headlights that lay flat when not in use like the later Porsche 928. It had a fastback roof similar to the '65 Plymouth Barracuda.

I wonder if more than one was made?

I know European coachbuilders were always hoping to get a nod from an American automaker to build some coachwork as I have previously seen two Bertone Corvettes, a Bertone Corvair, a Pininfarina Corvair, a Ghia Olds Toronado, a Ghia Checker, several Ghia Cadillacs, a Pininfarina Cadillac, even a Pininfarina two seat Thunderbird.

Between 1967 & 1968 about 2200 Ford Osi 20m TS were built by the italian Factory OSI.

It used Taunus 20m (Ford Cologne) mechanicals paired with a neat italian designed & built body.

Powered by either a 2.0 or a 2.3 V6.

That whtie car is the one, but it's uglier than I thought

The front looks good but the roof is a bit high
Now I need to see the back or rear 3/4 view. It's funny how this research goes, sometimes 10-15 years elapse before I see all three views of a rare car, just like when I interview someone, sometimes I ask a question and 10-15 years later see the same guy and ask the follow up question.

I wonder if the car still exists but since it is so ugly I guess it won't fetch as much as the Giugiaro designed Bertone Mustang which I predict will be a million dollar car if it is ever found and put in an auction.Giugiaro has a big name now, world's most famous car designer

At least now I know the name of the company Officine Stampaggi Industriali
