And then there was the aeroplanes
P39 Air Cobra and P63 King Cobra
Both were around during WWII
Shelby was a check pilot during WWII (beisdes being instructor to bomber pilots) , and test flew
planes to see if they were fixed, maybe the names stuck in his head...
