Old Nascar photos
 
I stumbled on this website late last week. I'm not much of a Nascar fan, but I have to admit I spent most of the weekend looking through the pics from the 60s and 70s. He must have scanned every pic from every source imaginable. Lots of fascinating stuff - especially the races in '63 and '64 with the Holman-Moody Galaxies.

The upload is not that big a problem - I have around 15000 photos on Fotki. It is basically a 'fire and forget' with the upload. It may take a few hours to upload a bunch of high res photos, but you don't really need to supervise it.

The thing that would take a long time is the scans he did! A lot of those photos look like they were scanned from books or vintage photos. I plan to leave him some comments with a nod of thanks for all his work.

Thanks for posting. It will take awhile to go through all of those. They sure bring back some good memories.
