front and back end sit to low
what can i do to raise up both ends fron scraping...the fron it about 3inches and the back about 3....what is suggested....thanks bd

What do you have for suspension under there? If it's typical ShellValley coilover shocks front and rear you can just slide under there and adjust the ride height yourself. Write back what you have for suspension.

bigdog - If they are coil overs you would screw the two nuts clockwise/up therefore moving the base of the spring higher. This does not compress the spring rather it just moves what it's loading to a higher point. You want to try to determine how much higher the chassis need to go and then screw the nuts that high and check. They make a funny wrench for these nuts - mine came with the car and makes the process alot easier. This adjustment can be done on the car but is much easier if you remove the entire coil over assembly, adjust each one and remount. Best wishes!

Be sure and use some lubricant such as WD-40 so you don't mess the threads up on the coilovers. Most autoparts places should have spanner wrenches. Jack the car up to take the weight of the suspension and it adjusts easier.

Like Hog & Cracker reccomended, locate a coilover spanner wrench. Start by putting the cars chassis (not the suspension) on jackstands. Spray the threaded lower section of the shocks with lubricant. You'll see the two big "collars"(spanner nuts) with notches in them on the bottom of the coil, back off the lower of the two with the spanner tool and then turn the upper collar a few turns keeping track of how many revolutions you make. Do the same for the other side, let the car off the jack and see if the height is where you want it. Once you're happy with the ride height remember to go back and tighten the lower collar back against the upper. Let us know how you made out.
