Need help with Throttle linkage
Guys,
HAving a real hard time with the linkage supplied by SVC. Just cannot getting it to wide open throttle with the supplies I have. Could anyone email or post pictures of thier linkage and how it is set up so that I can see how others have rigged it to work. It feels like I have tried everything, but there must be a way. Maybe I have the short an long legs reversed. I just do not know. Help. Romanbuilt |
Send me your email address and I will send you pics of my linkage, I used some of SV stuff and fabricated the rest.

I sure would like to see pics of your setup also. I'll sent you an email. Thanks Dave |
I also had to do some fabricating on my linkage. The pedal assembly was OK and the linkage between the carburetor and firewall was OK, but I had to make a piece to connect the pedal linkage to the linkage on the firewall. It turned out fine and gives me some adjustability of the pedal height.

Romanbuilt,
My guess your levers are slipping on the rod that runs parallel to your fire wall. I would suggest that either you spot weld them in place or drill a small hole thru the lever and rod and use a roll pin once you get everything in the position you want. Clois |
