2nd edition Shell Valley Cobra

There was an article in this months Kit Car about a new body being produced by SV. Is this old news that is just now being printed? Does anyone here have one. The article speaks of cav reinforced fiberglass. I'm wondering if this is used in most manufacturer's bodies? Also dropped foot boxes and a few more changes. The body shape is from the Midstates design. I have been working my a$$ off trying to save for a new roller, and now my father wants he and I to build a kit. He is in his 70's but one heck of a mechanic. I'm thinking a car we did together even with its flaws would bring my family more enjoyment for right now anyway. There's always the future to buy my dream cobra. So for right now I've been looking at FFR donerless, SV, and now it looks like Hurricane is an option again. You folks who post on CC will probably never know how much you help us newbies. Thanks

Sean, The existing Hurricane kit is a fantastic deal, numerous well thought out details, very strong frame, sub-frame and steel dropped foot boxes and authentic body shape.
The new Hurricane under the leadership of Jay Nordstrum promises to have many more improvements and features to compare. Soon there will be new information regarding these cars, I suggest you follow the Hurricane Motorsports web site for more information on the new Company and Jay's progress.

Best of luck on your research, Bill
