URGENT: Rotor minimum?
Does anyone know the minimum rotor thickness for a Sierra XL-175 caliper, 12.18-inch, curved-vane rotor, nominal 1.250 thickness? My car's at the brake check place and there's apparently no minimum cast or stamped on the rotor itself. No data in hand, Sierra doesn't answer, ERA doesn't answer... arrgh.

When all else fails, read the manual. I put it in there about a year ago.
Minimum rotor thickness is 1.19"

I did check my manual - but it's of 707's age and doesn't have the spec. I never thought to look at the online manual to see if it was updated... |
