surfacing flywheel question
any of you ever heard of surfacing a flywheel on a brake turning lathe..

Bad idea. The clutch will chatter like crazy.

DON'T DO IT !
You need to put a non uniform pattern on the surface. The only way you can do this is with a blanchard grinder. It shouldn't cost more that $30 or so. Any reputable engine shop can do this. If you lived close to me, I could do this at the shop that I manage for nothing.
