Side Pipe Replacements

Can anyone recommend a side pipe replacement vendor for a 289FIA? Mine are 3" black and are blown out. I'd like to just buy the straight section (which has the muffler), cut out the old one and weld in the new one.

Thanks,

Greg

Greg, I used to live a San Jose, then moved up here by Yosemite a couple years ago. I got my muffler section from a muffler shop in Hayward on A street. Sorry I can't remember the name of shop but remember its on the same street as Vic Hubbard speed warehouse but on the other side (WEST) of the freeway. The muffler section is a like a large auger with a tube down the center, all metal so nothing to burn out. Check out the yellow pages on the web for the phone #.
Good luck!

He will make any size pipe you want in Stainless or Aluminized steel. $80 for the SS and $30. for the steel.

Thanks for the info! I'll check out the place in Hayward and Arizona. I don't have a rattle problem. It's just too noisy! It is music to my ears but after a long drive my ears are buzzing.

Thanks again!

Greg
