irs pumpkin oil fill level
i'm pretty sure (or believe) i put the recommended amount of oil in the pumpkin but am not seeing the level in the axle holes and no oil out the rear fill plug.
if a person wasn't for sure how much oil was put in, would the oil be brought up to the bottom of the oil fill plug in the back of the cover, which would be approx. at the bottom of the axle holes or would this be too much oil.

My ERA has the Salisbury/Dana dif and is filled to the plug.

Some of the early Kirkhams came with a diff cover fill hole that was to high. This led to various problems with them puking oil and such. If you know you have the right cover and proper height fill hole, I'd fill right to the hole.
