Digital Castor camber gauge

I am wondering if digital castor camber gauges are the ticket for setting up suspension any experience are they reliable compared to the old school bubble type?
Looked at a couple of brands like Longacre and Intercomp which appear to be good quality ranging respectively from $186 to $339, so I guess if you want qaulity you pay for it.

I have used the frame type that fits on the wheel and the magnetic type that fits on the wheel hub and I guess its a matter of what works, I notice the old school bubble type is almost as expensive as some digital gauges. One point is the digital gauge is a lot more versatile as it can be used for an angle finder with other build areas.

at the suggestion of richard hudgins i purchased and use the smartcamber setup, like it real well. set the camber to within a 1/10th and same for the caster. the hands free deal might be beneficial but you can use bungee cords to tie it to the wheel. i'll never use a bubble again.

shop around and you should be able to get a decent deal.

I made my own camber/caster digital gauge ... bought a self leveling digital from Sears and made a base out similar to what is shown in the Smart Racing pictures that goes up against the wheel rim . Base of the level is magnetic so it holds to the steel wheel attachment . I had my car set up by a race team using surface plate and all the latest good stuff ... went home and checked against my homemade camber gauge and was within 1/4degree . Total dollars I have in the setup is about $55 US .
I also have the Longacre bubble unit and this works better since it can be adjusted for a floor that isn`t level .
