brake bleeder sealant

Does anyone here use anything on their bleed valves for thread sealant? I have a vacuum bleeder that runs off of my air compressor. While very cool and handy it seems to me that it pulls air from around the threads and I want to prevent that so I can get a more efficient bleed from the brakes. Thoughts? Comments?

I use teflon tape.

I thought teflon tape is dissolved by brake fluid.. Do you use white or yellow? Maybe there is a difference.

I use the white but I take out the bleeder everytime and wrap it. There's probably something better but it works for me.

This is THE stuff to use...

Thread Sealant
Speed Bleeder Thread Sealant
Used to replace the thread sealant that will eventually wear off if you bleeded your brakes frequently. It is mainly used by racers who bleed their brakes after every race. It comes in a 1/2 ounce bottle with an applicator brush built in to the cap.

Did you write something? I couldn't see it with that avatar in my face.. LOL thanks.

Get Russell Speed Bleeders which have thread sealant and remain open until fluid is clear with no bubbles. Open once, close when bled.

Plain old grease works quite well.
