Special tool or Trick of the "Trade"?
Working on 8.8 differential in Mustang. What is the trick for installing the a new upgraded "Z" spring that loads the clutches in a limited slip application.

Wide vise grips or wire tie it tight
Rick Parker Put the spring in a Vise, One end at a time and either visegrip it with small ones or wire tie it down. You really only need to get it started and it will slide in. Add a little motor oil or lite grease to start the clip. Large hammer to get started in the carrier. Rick L. Ps I have seen guys use vise grips for tin work.

Rick is right on---put some lube on all surfaces line it up and pop it in with a plastic hammer by whacking the outside edge of the spring to start it. Piece of cake.
