Another dumb ?.

I have removed my remote oil filter and now I am in the process of re-intalling it. I can't remember which way the hoses go http://clubcobra.com/ubb/frown.gif

Also what should the oil pressure be on a 302? cold-warm?

Thanks

Scott,

If you can figure out which way the oil is travelling in the hoses... (You could always disconnect the coil and have someone crank the engine.)

Oil flows from the outside to the inside of the filter. Don't screw up. Oil won't pass backward very well in a reversed filter.

I'll send you an email with digital image of my set up. The top of the oil filter mount housing should have arrows pointing towards the filter and away from the filter. You have two extra ports, one filtered, and one unfiltered. The filtered can used used for a preoiler, and unfiltered is often used for an oil pressure sender.

Hope the image helps.

May I get a copy of this if you have it available? Also, I looked at my dual filter mount. one entire side appears to be for inlet to the filters and one entire side is connected to the center of both filters for exit. How would you hook up the oil pressure sender?
