SPF Half Shaft CV Boot ?

I was under my car today visually inspecting and found GOBS of thick bearing grease all around the RR Suspension from the shock towers to the LCA's.
I am assuming the half shaft CV Boot is splt somewhere.
Any advice ?
Source for the rubber half shaft CV Boot ?

I got mine from Ford.

The boot may not be split. The clamp holding the boot may have come loose. Over time lots of grease escapes. Clean it up and inspect the boot. If it's ok, repack it with CV grease and install a new clamp.

For a while, every time I went to the track, one of the boots would twist up, and then tear. You can get replacement boot kits from NAPA or Ford.

Then I figured out two little tricks that prevent it from happening. I'v had the same boot on there now for about 4-5 years.

First, when you atach the small end around the axle, smear some greas on the contact area, and then leave the clamps on a littl loose.

Second, place some zip ties around the boot to give it a little extra support.

Thanks guys. I will do a closer inspection, rotate the boot and if it's not split up top I will wrap a tie around it. !
I am new to SPF ownership bought this used from a buddy . What puzzles me about this car is each part seems to have to be removed, brought to Napa or Ford to be matched up. Am I missing any build parts or spec sheet documentaion from when the rolled was built by SPF ? I realize some things are unique to the engine installer . Does SPF have a central parts source ?
Thanks Again...jam

You can call someone like olthoff or hillbank and they can get most of what you need for the standard parts. I got my CV boots from olthoff just because I know they would be right but im sure I paid way to much for them. If you can take the parst to napa and have them match them thats your best bet as far as price.
