I need a better horn Help!!
I have a very nice Classic Roadster but when i honk the horn it is weak and more like a small MGB horn than a beautiful badA Cobra. can anyone help me with what horn they used and some nice 60's horn sounds. I have heard some of the BMW horns and they sound pretty good. i suspect it will cost a bmw price, maybe used or wreck cars are an option but would like to hear what others are using and how to get them.

I've got a CR also. Toyed with the idea of an OOGah horn like on the old Fords. Anyway, I'm not big on horns so I went to the local Track Auto, bought a hi tone and lo tone pair of horns for about $12 each, and bolted them in. Sounds fine.

Standard electric horns that mount with one bolt. I put mine foreward of the radiator inside the upper portion of air intake. Make sure to attach a ground wire to the base.

I purchased a set of horns from J C Whitney. They look good and are LOUD! Definietly Bad A!

The best horns are from the Cadilacs. They are loud and deep. Go to any Junk yard & pick one up for a few bucks.
