I have a CR, not a Shell Valley, so you might have to get specifics directly from Shell Valley.

The GM tilt column most commonly used is a Chevette, which is a 2" diameter column.

Problem is, the Chevette, like the Mustang II, was a piece of junk when it left the assembly line, much less what's available in boneyards today.

What you need from Shell Valley is the column length for your car and engine.

For a column, you'd be better off with an Ididit. Shafts and joints, use Borgeson, and use their collapsable shaft.

Some column mounted functions peculiar to the Chevette then need to be installed in the dash.
