Help identify this front cover -
Part number: E0AE-6059-AA. I believe it's a front cover off an '80 or '81 351W. I tried to bolt up my new Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump (#1725) tonight but the pump is contacting the bottom corner of the front cover. It seems I may need to grind off about 1/4 inch of the lower corner of the front cover to get the fuel pump to fit. Anyone else run into this before?

Seems some guys over at corral.net have run into this before. The solution is as I suspected: I'll need to grind down the bottom corner of the timing cover. I'll let you know if Edelbrock has a different solution.

I also have this problem with the Edelbrock fuel pump. The problem was solved with an angle grinder.
